Louisville Waterfront Park in Kentucky - A Great Vacation and Holiday Destination

The Louisville Waterfront Park in Kentucky is a beautiful patch of green in a very urban. The park is located in an area where there are a lot of scrap yards, sand and gravel plants, old rail beds, petroleum and asphalt terminals and an interstate highway that makes it virtually impossible for the public access to river. The Waterfront Park worked to connect the city and the river again and found a nice place where to gather the community and enjoy abeautiful room. The park offers a 12-acre Great Lawn to play, to take the softly to the river and is an ideal place for families to picnic, or something else to do. The lawn is also a meeting place to watch fireworks fun, playing football, you hear Concerts, let rise a kite or just hang out with friends, catching rays and by listening to the gurgling of the stream.

The Belle of Louisville steamboat lives permanently on the dock and also has enough room for your visitRiver and other seafarers to and from the area. In the square there are festivals and water supply utilities built so that it is easy for festivals, fairs, concerts and other fun activities. There are also water down to the river basin and cannons that shoot water basin. There is an entry called Dancing Waters fountain, a lot of fun to jump on a hot day to be cool. It is a great place for children to play the rest areas, meadows and hills, andalso groups of trees.

Waterfront Park has a second phase will cover 30 hectares and is currently under construction. When completed it will be residents and tourists and even bigger to offer oasis in the concrete jungle.
